ICS has created a fully-integrated system for our readymix concrete and bulk construction materials supply business. This has allowed Frankston Sand Soil to move away from a paper-based order taking and fleet management approach, to a system that's easier to track, This has included:
1. a custom-made point of sale system. Previously, phone orders would be taken and written on paper.
2. Fleet planning. A paper-based worksheet, which included changes and other alterations
3. Batching. The first step of data entry into a computer. Just used for batch tracking and release
4. Fleet Tracking. Another entry point for data, requiring driver acceptance of jobs.
5. Invoicing and credit cards. More data entry for the same job.
